About the studio
A music school built around thoughtful coaching.
Distr Geome began as a small teaching collective and grew into a full studio that balances disciplined practice with creative exploration. We support learners of every age with clear, encouraging instruction.

6Our story
From a living room studio to a trusted school
The studio started with a single piano and a focus on patient, listening-first instruction. As families asked for more instruments and ensemble coaching, we created a team culture around collaboration and curiosity.
“We kept the studio small in spirit, even as it grew in reach.”
Thomas Idris, Founder

Values
What shapes every lesson
We emphasise craftsmanship, care, and courage. Students are encouraged to listen deeply, practise intentionally, and trust their musical instincts.
Our philosophy
Good teaching meets students where they are and provides a path forward that feels achievable. We choose repertoire together, so each learner feels ownership of their sound.
Community
Partnerships and local impact
School collaborations
We work with primary and secondary schools to deliver short-term music intensives.
Local venues
Students perform at community halls and arts centres across the region.
Scholarship support
Each year we offer need-based lesson support for emerging musicians.
Achievements
Recognised for meaningful progress
Our students have earned placements in youth ensembles and community orchestras. We celebrate every milestone, from first recitals to audition wins.
“The studio keeps the focus on confidence and artistry, which shows in every performance.”
